All items on our menu are fully cooked and only need to be reheated to fully enjoy them.

If fresh - just reheat. If frozen - just thaw

  • All Varenyky (perohy ) are frozen & should be kept frozen, until you are ready to cook them.

  • In all cases, we recommend defrosting frozen food completely before following the reheating instructions. (except varenyky).

This can be done by letting the food item thaw in your fridge overnight.

We generally suggest you transfer food items to your own oven or microwave safe container.

If you are in a hurry to defrost, most microwaves have a defrost function which works quite well.

  • Frozen Soup - run your container under hot water and pop it out into a pot.

Reheat slowly on low heat, stirring frequently until thawed and warmed to your desired temperature.

HOW TO REHEAT TURKEY!

HOW TO REHEAT TURKEY!

HOW TO REHEAT TURKEY DINNER

Keep all packaged food refrigerated until ready to prepare. Avoid leaving packaged food out at room temperature. When reheating food products, heat to the recommended internal heating temperature by using an approved food thermometer. Any leftover food should immediately be placed in a clean sealable food container and placed in the refrigerator.

**IT IS ALSO ACCEPTABLE TO DO THIS:

Take a large cookie sheet - add some water to the bottom. Place on top of the water - large sheet of FOIL - place everything on that foil sheet.  Turkey (sliced) & sides - heat in the oven for 30 minutes all covered with foil. Transfer the hot turkey to a serving platter. Adding a little garnish can make a drab dish look like it came out of a magazine. I used some leftover flat leaf parsley and cranberries as a garnish--an easy way to make the platter look festive. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of hot broth over the turkey just before serving. There should be some hot broth in the bottom of the reheating pan that can be used for this.

Pies:   Apple Pie is freshly baked - serve warm or cold.

Pecan Pie, Pecan Tarts - just thaw.

Cranberry Sauce: ready to use just open & serve!

ENJOY your meals !

  • Remove turkey from the fridge and rest on the counter for 20 minutes to take the chill off. Remove the packaging and slice the Turkey Breast. For quick, even heating, it's best to spread the slices in a single layer, overlapping them slightly.

  • On the Stovetop: carefully warm by adding a little bit of water into the saucepan. Do not overcook.

In the microwave: Heat 3-4  minutes - stir halfway, then always check.

  • On the Stovetop: Warm over LOW heat & bring to SLOW simmer. Stir often to avoid scorching. Do not bring to a rolling boil.
